5 years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the time it was the most difficult thing I have ever been through as a single parent. I consulted with my friend Tracey to deal with my own coping skills of getting through breast cancer. After finally coming to acceptance and going through all the many surgeries and treatments, I finally came through the other side of the storm a lot stronger. I have since spoken to many other women going through the same trauma and have helped them to gain the clarity they have needed for the process, from my own experience. I started cycling thereafter and have competed in over 30 races all over the country. I also became a cycling coach, and have coached and motivated many young athletes, to focus on their goals with their truest intentions. I have learned that nothing lasts forever and that you can do anything you put your mind to. Mountains can be conquered, even if it pushes you to your limits. Never ever give up.
