Consequences of addiction:

Addiction carries with it a range of dangerous consequences that can greatly impact the life of a person with the disease and the people around them. Addiction can also trigger depression, psychosis, and anxiety, and greatly increase the risk of suicidal ideation. It can also deeply impair people around the individual, destroying relationships and finances, and even pushing people towards illicit activity and crime.

Understanding and facing these consequences is often very difficult for the addict. In these sessions consequences are unpacked and dealt with in a therapeutic environment.
