Character Education Curriculum
The School of Life’s Character Education Curriculum is an ongoing program that continually develops to offer a wide range of practical and effective skills in line with the latest international EQ standards. Our current modules are applicable to both primary and high school phases. This program aims to expand into all private and government schools in South Africa and Africa, encouraging children to pause and reflect before making decisions and fostering metacognitive skills.
BUILDING SELF-ESTEEM
This module is designed to reduce and eradicate bullying, which often stems from low self-esteem. When individuals value themselves and possess good self-esteem, they feel secure and worthwhile, fostering positive relationships and confidence in their abilities. They also become receptive to learning and feedback, crucial for acquiring and mastering new skills.
- Grade 1 – 4 Building Self-esteem (Six practical lessons of 30 minutes each)
- Grade 5 – 7 Building Self-esteem (Six practical lessons of 30 minutes each)
STRESS MANAGEMENT
This module aims to reduce and eliminate stress, worry, anxiety, and depression by empowering students to manage their emotional and physical responses to pressure. Recognizing control over their choices is fundamental to stress management. Effective stress management involves taking charge of thoughts, emotions, schedules, and problem-solving approaches.
